THE STUDIO BEHIND THE ORIGINAL VISION
A look inside the historic creative team and production craft that shaped Astrid Silverlock.
White Shark described itself as a Swedish production company specialising in animation for film and television.
Its Astrid Silverlock archive preserves an ambitious mix of story development, character painting, environment design, animation exploration and storyboard work. This page documents that historical production effort; it is not a claim that the original company or team is currently taking commissions.

Distinct silhouettes and costumes bring Astrid’s family, companions and rivals into the same visual world.
Paintings of fjords, halls, harbours and fortresses establish mood, geography and light.
The preserved production archive also contains animation tests and trailer material from the development period.
